Throughout his life, Ray proudly served the fire service in many capacities. He volunteered with the East Farmingdale Fire Department and Hauppauge Fire Department, served as Chief of Program Development at the Suffolk County Fire Academy, and dedicated 20 years to the FDNY. His life was defined by courage, selflessness, and an unwavering commitment to training, protecting, and serving.
